An interdisciplinary workshop on Antarctic surface hydrology and ice-shelf stability, funded by the National Science Foundation.

Aims:

  1. Establish the state-of-the-science of Antarctic surface hydrology,

  2. Identify key research questions and future priorities in this field, and

  3. Facilitate collaborations between researchers in this field

On February 22nd-23rd, nearly 50 scientist gathered at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory to discuss the growing field of Antarctic surface hydrology.

Over two days we hosted 18 short science talks and 21 poster presentations.

This site hosts information on the motivation, schedule and outcomes of the workshop.
